Biography
Vetri Venthan Elango is a Research Engineer in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Vetri is from Chennai (Madras), India. Vetri completed his BTech (Civil Engineering) from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras in 2000 and his MS (Transportation Engineering) from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, in 2003. He started to pursue his PhD from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2003. Vetri has more than 7 years of experience in the field of travel behavior research, instrumented vehicle data collection and processing, and travel surveys. He also has a strong background in statistical analysis, and software development for data collection and processing.
